inspired by a quiet moment at a lake near my home. The waterlilies drifting across the surface instantly reminded me of Monet’s gardens, and I couldn’t resist leaning into a more impressionistic approach.
I loosened my brushstrokes, let the colors breathe, and focused on capturing movement rather than detail. The palette became a conversation between cool blues, soft greens, and those unexpected flashes of violet and yellow that appear only when the light hits just right.
It felt like painting a feeling rather than reality — and I loved every second of it.
