Paint Like Monet- Thursday painting class

Student a required to bring their own oils or acrylic supplies.

Step into Monet’s world of shimmering water, drifting lily pads, and luminous color. In this guided workshop, we’ll explore one of Monet’s iconic Water Lilies paintings. Students may choose to paint from the featured Monet reference provided in class, or bring their own water‑lily photo that has a similar mood and composition.

This class is designed for “beyond beginner” painters — and focuses on learning how to see and paint the world the way Monet did.

Personalized Instruction for Every Student

Even though we’ll all be working from similar references, each student receives individual, hands-on guidance throughout the class. 

Everyone will complete their main painting during class, with plenty of time to refine details and add finishing touches.

Creative Time After the Main Painting

Once the primary Monet-inspired piece is finished, students may choose to:

• begin a second impressionistic painting of their own

• finish a painting started in one of my previous classes

This extra time allows you to explore, experiment, and grow with guidance right at your easel.
