Whether you paint in oils, acrylics or watercolor, this class is geared to the “beyond beginner” student who wants to build their confidence in painting.
Led by award-winning professional artist Betty Ann Medeiros, this class offers a rare opportunity to receive personalized guidance from a master of her craft. Betty Ann is not only a seasoned painter with advanced expertise—she’s also a gifted and encouraging teacher who knows how to bring out the best in each student.
🖌️ What to Expect:
• All student will be working on the same teacher suggested subjects to learn important skills in painting. Examples would be:
1. Painting a landscape from photo “as if” you were painting plein air 2. Still life painting 3. Learning to paint light
• Receive one-on-one instruction and feedback from Betty Ann
. Learn to “see” with an artists eye
• Learn techniques to refine your style, strengthen your compositions, and deepen your creative confidence
• Enjoy a supportive, inspiring environment with fellow passionate artists
With a class of about 8-10 students, you’ll benefit from focused attention and a collaborative atmosphere. Whether you’re refining your brushwork or exploring new creative directions, this class is your space to grow, experiment, and flourish.
Classes will be held in one of Betty Ann‘s personal Studios in Danbury, Connecticut very close to the border of New Fairfield. The address is 17 Belair Drive, Danbury CT.
Students are required to bring their own art materials.
Art supply suggestions will be given upon request.
