I have recently been inspired to do several paintings capturing the essence of beautiful Roxbury, CT.
During a dry season when the Shepaug River was very low this tree revealed its creeping roots and I thought it deserved to be painted.
There is a picnic table nearby which is always a favorite stop for us hikers and bikers.
